Our Story
In 2023, we partnered with Dana-Farber to organize a group to run the Boston 5k. Race entries sold out in 10 minutes, leaving many unable to register but that didn’t deter us. We expanded the event into a remote event for anyone to participate. The event spread as people shared stories on social media of why they planned to run for Dana-Farber and groups organized to run/walk together all over the world.
We turned the event into an annual tradition and after our second year, we raised over $200,000 dollars for cancer treatment and research.
Our Cause
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute provides expert, compassionate, and equitable care to children, adults, and their families, while advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure, and prevention of cancer and related diseases. They train new generations of clinicians and scientists, disseminate innovative patient therapies and scientific discoveries around the world, and reduce the impact of cancer, while at all times maintaining a focus on those communities who have been historically marginalized.
